Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson is a known soccer fan and makes sure he is in the spotlight for a holiday made just for him, Ochocinco De Mayo.’ The former NFL football player was in Europe to catch the UEFA Champions League semifinal between Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
And he was not bashful in predicting an upset at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Ochocinco was out spotting playing the ‘beautiful game’ while wearing the azzurri of the Italian national team. The official jersey by Puma was worn by the Azzurri for the 2014 World Cup and has been a favorite of fashionistas like Ochocinco.

The 6-time NFL Pro Bowl selection has tried to crossover to soccer. He has a tryout with Sporting Kansas City last summer and while he impressed head coach Peter Vermes but was never really in the mix to make the final cut and Ochocinco understood.
“It takes extreme skill to play at this level,” Ochocinco told FoxSports last year after the tryout. “I have (enhanced) respect for the game and what they’re able to do. I think people need to understand: An elite athlete like myself, it takes more than just being athletic to come play at a level like this.”
Chad Johnson grew up playing soccer in Miami and fans of the game can only wonder how far the U.S. national team can go when more top athletes opt to play soccer rather than the other big sports in America.
Official gear of the Italian national soccer team is available at World Soccer Shop.
