Norwich City FC are retuning to the Barclays Premier League in August after a one year absence. Winners of The Football League Championship playoffs at the end of the 2014/15 season, The Canaries will mark eighty years at the iconic Carrow Road Stadium next season. This is celebrated with Norwich’s 2015/16 Errea home jersey.
The new shirt is a modernization of the home shirt that the club wore from 1927 to 1947. This included their first at Carrow Road in 1935.
The Errea jersey has a definite classic feel about it with a polo collar above a buttoned placket. It features the yellow and green halves of the 1927-1947 Norwich City home kit with one yellow sleeve and one green sleeve.
The collar and area under it are both green. “OTBC” is embroidered in white on the upper back of the kit in reference to Norwich’s song “On the Ball, City”. The Norwich City 2015/16 home uniform is completed with green shorts and yellow socks.
Norwich open their 2015/16 Premier League season by hosting a resurgent Crystal Palace on Saturday, August 8th. Their new home kit was worn for the first time during Saturday’s 7-0 pre-season win over minor leaguers Gorleston FC.
