Chelsea Football Club unveiled their 2015/16 jersey collection earlier this month and one of the most noticeable features of the new jersey was the English spelling for the Yokohama sponsorship logo.
Yokohama Tyres (yes with a ‘Y’ rather than the American spelling Tires with an ‘I’) is printed across the chest of the team’s home and away jerseys.
Internet rumors have spread that the official Chelsea jersey available to fans in the US would have an updated ‘Americanized’ spelling of tires but World Soccer Shop can confirm this is NOT true. The images above are of the Chelsea home and away jersey in our U.S. warehouse. These jerseys ship to our customers in the U.S. and abroad.
The Blues are one of the most popular Premier League teams in the U.S. and many fans were worried that to get the official look they would have to order directly from the UK and pay higher shipping fees. Fear not.
The 2015/16 Chelsea Soccer Jerseys (correct sponsor logo spelling and all) are available at World Soccer Shop.
