Nike kick off 2015 with the Highlight Pack, four bold new colourways for each of its silos.
Following on from the Shine Through collection released back in December, the Highlight Pack features the bold accent colors that complemented the predominantly white Shine Through cleats.
Designed to stand out on the pitch as much as possible, the Highlight Pack will be exclusively worn by players whose teams have advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals – meaning the likes of Wayne Rooney and Christian Eriksen will not be switching colourways.
The headline colorway is that of the Mercurial Superfly, a Volt/Hyper Pink cleat that bares more than a slight resemblance to the Green/Hyper Punch Superfly’s worn exclusively by Ronaldo at the start of the season. The bright “Volt” upper is contrasted with the “Hyper Pink” swoosh to create a truly no-holds-barred cleat.
The Hypervenom’s Highlight Pack refresh comes in the form of a Blue Lagoon/Total Crimson colourway. In keeping with the mantra of the pack the colours contrast to create a cleat that will definitely pop out on pitch. Expect to see the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Neymar donning this colourway come the restart of the Champions League.
Accompanying the more conventional colourway that was just released, the Highlight Pack Nike Magista is the only three-tone colourway of the lot. A Poison Green Upper and a Total Orange swoosh is complemented by a Volt layer of Nike Skin. With a line up featuring the likes of Andres Iniesta and Mario Gotze this will definitely be a prominent colourway across European pitches.
The final addition to the Highlight Pack is the Nike Tiempo Legend V. A Solar Blue upper and a Volt swoosh makes this, in true Tiempo fashion, the cleanest and classiest make over of the lot. Nonetheless this is definitely a colourway on the flashy-side of things as Nike look to make themselves seen.
