Scottish top club Celtic, three-time defending champion of the nation’s top flight, has a new third kit from kit provider Nike. The kit was publicly unveiled in a friendly on the road, in a 1-1 draw on Sunday against Austria’s Rapid Wien. This new white kit is said to pay homage to the first home kit worn by the club back in 1888, which features a solid white shirt. This new look is a fresh take, with a modest appearance.
The kit is white and has green and golden yellow details. The shirt has a constructed v-neck collar, with a golden neck band on the inner collar at the back. The green and white hooped pennant tab under the band has the club statement, “A club like no other.” The sleeves has thick green cuffs. The chest has a band in green, white and golden yellow. The shorts are white with green stripes on each side, and the shorts are also white, with a green band at the top, and tonal chevrons at the back. Magners Irish Cider returns as the club’s primary sponsor.

Celtic, one of the most passionate clubs in all of Europe, has another look influenced by their rich history. The end result is a kit that could lead them to more glory in the future.
