Nike has revealed the second pack of cleats designed to be used by female soccer players. Earlier this year, the American brand presented the first ever women’s cleat pack, featuring bold colorways for all the four silos, that shone in the Women’s World Cup where the USWNT lifted the trophy and earned their third star. A new Women’s pack of eye-popping colorways for the Mercurial, Hypervenom, Magista and Tiempo cleats has been introduced today.
The Mercurial Superfly cleats, worn by USWNT stars Carli Lloyd, Megan Rapinoe, Sydney Leroux and Tobin Heath receives a stunning Racer Blue/Bright Mango paint job, featuring white for the laces and the Dynamic Fit Collar. Lloyd was the hero of the Women’s World Cup in Canada, being awarded with the Golden Ball in recognition for her splendid performance.
The Mercurial Vapors will receive a different colorway, being mostly white with a Bright Mango Swoosh and violet soleplate to create a more traditional and elegant look.
The new Hypervenom II, set to be used by international superstar Alex Morgan and the unstoppable Christen Press, will feature a Energy/Racer Blue/Voltage Green combination that embodies the speed and deceiving spirit of these cleats and the agile players who wear them.
The Magista cleats will be seen on the feet of Ali Krieger and Crystal Dunn – Golden Boot and MVP in the NWSL – and will boast a striking Black/Bright Crimson look with white soleplate to stand out on the field.
The Tiempo, set to be worn by Julie Johnston, have not been revealed yet, as an all-new version will be presented in the upcoming months. The second Women’s Cleat Pack will be released to the public in early 2016, and will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com.
