The Nike Bomba II was originally released in 2013. The eagerly anticipated update from the original Bomba shoe has a new paintjob for 2015 and 365.WSS takes an up-close look at the shoe and this latest colorway.
The shoe is designed for small side games on turf and provides great touch and traction regardless of the weather conditions. It features a 1-piece designed upper made from NikeSkin to make the shoe as much a part of your foot as possible but with 3 distinct textures strategically placed to help you own the turf.
The base of the upper is a performance mesh exposed at the back of the shoe with an additional 2 zones on the front of the shoe made from a PU film. The primary layer has the look of a speckled blue sandpaper. It covers the toe and runs on the lower half of the sides of the shoe to the heel. It has a smooth slight textured dimpled feel.
The instep of the toe has an additional layer fused on that is more course and designed to get a better grip on the ball.
The entire upper is made from ACC – All Conditions Control – to make sure the touch is idea in any weather condition.
The foot cage has a molded sockliner, internal support band, and thin synthetic suede tongue.
The Turf Traction outsole has a combination of conical and oblong cleats. These are all the same height and provide the best of traction and turning ability. The TPU and rubber outsole is designed to allow for superb underfoot ball control.
The Nike Bomba Finale II (Blue Lagoon/White) is available at World Soccer Shop and other fine soccer retailers.
