Arsenal FC was founded in 1886 and has long been a power in English football. Known by their supporters as “The Gunners,” the North London side has won the first division title 13 times and the FA Cup 10 times.

Current manager Arsene Wenger has brought in a stylish system that encourages attractive football that has won over many fans. Wenger took over the club in 1996, and has maintained the clubs place among Europe’s elite without high transfer costs. He managed the club’s all-time leader scorer, Thierry Henry, who starred at Arsenal from 1999 until 2007. Henry was a key contributor to the 2003-04 side, which came to be know as “The Invincibles, due to their setting of the English record for consecutive games without a loss at 49.

Arsenal has a fierce rivalry with their North London neighbors, Tottenham. The North London Derby is one of the most intense rivalries in all of football.
