Everton manager David Moyes has hinted he will look to push through a permanent deal for on-loan striker Denis Stracqualursi this summer.

Stracqualursi: Praised by Moyes

Stracqualursi scored his first Premier League goal in Everton's 2-0 weekend win over Chelsea and Moyes was full of praise for the 24-year-old's display.

Moyes has hinted the Merseysiders will now secure the Argentinian's services on a permanent basis, stating his parent club Tigre do not have lofty demands.

"I don't know how much he'd cost, but it wouldn't be massive," explained Moyes.

"I saw things (against Chelsea), like early in the second half when the ball went through to the keeper and Denis chased it down, then the next player did the same.

"That got the crowd up, the players pick up on it and it gives everyone a real lift. He's been doing fantastic for us."
