    Haiti’s Women’s National Team has reached into Middle America for a head coach to replace Ronald Luxieux, today naming F.C. Indiana’s Shek Borkowski to manage their side. Borkowski signed a three year contract that will take him through the 2015 Women’s World Cup cycle.

  • Canadian WNT Defeats Sweden 2-1

    Canada’s Women’s National Team came from behind to defeat Sweden’s National Team 2-1 on Tuesday, November 22nd. Canada’s win over Sweden, who finished in third placed at the 6th edition of the Women’s World Cup in Germany this past summer, sent a clear message to CONCACAF rivals that they will be a serious candidate for one of two spots at next Summer’s Olympics in London, which will be determined at the CONCACAF regional qualifying tournament is set for January.

    The U.S. Women’s National Team came from behind to tie Sweden 1-1 on Saturday, November 19th at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game was the culmination of a two-week training camp for the U.S. side, who were based in nearby Scottsdale.
