Edinson Cavani scored twice as Napoli strolled to a 3-0 victory at Fiorentina to leapfrog Inter Milan into fifth in the Serie A table.
The visitors were ahead in just the third minute through Cavani, who added a second 10 minutes after the break.
And strike partner Ezequiel Lavezzi got in on the act in stoppage time to add gloss to the scoreline.
The Viola showed none of the improvements which have been evident in their game of late, allowing their guests to overtake an Inter side who humbled 3-0 at home by struggling Bologna this evening.
Cavani opened the scoring early on when he latched onto Marek Hamsik's neat pass and slotted the ball past Artur Boruc.
In the 17th minute Cavani sent in a corner for Paolo Cannavaro, who headed wide, before Hamsik headed narrowly wide moments later.
It was almost 2-0 when Christian Maggio, unmarked in the area, got on the end of Lavezzi's corned and sent a header thumping against the bar.
And the woodwork at the other end was then rattled as Cesare Natali headed a Juan Vargas corner against the post.
Stevan Jovetic went close to an equaliser when he shot narrowly wide 10 minutes before the break but Fiorentina could not get back on level terms.
And 10 minutes after the restart Napoli grabbed a second, thanks to the same combination who provided the first as Hamsik played another good pass and Cavani took advantage of some uncertain defending to beat Boruc again.
That seemed to kill off Fiorentina, who had had plenty of possession without creating much.
Boruc saved well from Goran Pandev as full-time neared, but he could do nothing three minutes into stoppage time to deny Lavezzi, who finished from outside the box for number three.
