The road back to the Premier League for Newcastle United begins with a new home jersey for the 2016/17 campaign. PUMA and one of the most revered clubs in all of England have united once more for the Toon’s new home jersey.
Newcastle’s familiar black and white stripes return, and this time they’ll be accompanied with only a golden touch as the trim. The collar is a traditional v-neck style, in black and gold trim. The stripes themselves are thicker than usual and are broken up at the front, with a white stripe on the sleeves and golden PUMA cats and trim on the cuffs.
The back of the jersey is also striped, with a NUFC wordmark under the collar at the top. The complete outfielder’s kit has black shorts with black and white hooped socks.
The goalkeeper jersey comes in green with a black, cyan, magneta and yellow stripe on each sleeve, and a white PUMA cat on each shoulder. Wonga returns as shirt sponsor, with an updated logo, and appears in blue on the players jersey, and monochrome white on the goalkeeper version.
The Newcastle United 2016/17 home jersey will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
