The 2014/15 Newcastle Jets home jersey was unveiled in Australia in July and has now landed in the U.S. The jersey is the first look produced by the club’s new Official Apparel Supplier, BLK.
The home jersey retains the club’s red and blue vertical strips but unlike recent jerseys this year’s look is predominantly blue with two red stripes bleeding into the blue. The red is used on the crew collar and on the number panel on the back of the jersey.
Gold, the primary color of the Jets home jersey prior to 2011, details are used on the right shoulder as the background of the BLK logo and with a modern curved cuff detail on the outside edge of the sleeves.
The club logo is over the left chest and this year’s jersey features a 10 Year Anniversary Logo below the collar on the back of the jersey.
The primary jersey sponsor Castle Quarry Products logo is on the front of the jersey and the nib, Newcastle based national health insurer, logo is on the sleeve. The Hyundai A-League logo is over the right chest.
BLK signed as the club’s official apparel sponsor in the summer. The brand is well-known in the rugby community but working to build a reputation in soccer as well. They sponsored the A-League All Star jersey from last season.
