One of Major League Soccer’s charter clubs, the New England Revolution released their latest home jersey from adidas. Uniting the whole of the New England region, the new kit is a nod to the uniforms worn by American soldiers in the Revolutionary War. The fresh new look for 2016 was presented Thursday in front of club supporters inside Gillette Stadium.

New England’s 2016 primary jersey comes in the Revs’ traditional colors of navy, red and white. The collar is a standard v-neck. The sleeves have single white stripes at the cuffs, as the three-stripe detail is now placed under the arms as piping and are red. Two vertical bars, red and white, are at the center of the shirt, and are broken up by the placement of the sponsor.

The shirts’ inner collar has a white and red stripe. The interior has an Est. 1996 placed on the red, showing their status as one of the original ten clubs in MLS. The back neck has a green pine tree in between the two-tone stripe, exhibiting New England pride.

The club’s crest is at the heart, with United Healthcare retaining the shirt sponsor spot beneath. The complete kit will also feature white shorts with red trim, and navy socks with red and white details.

The 2016 adidas New England Revolution home jersey will be available soon at World Soccer Shop.
