Hunt or be hunted, New Balance have revealed a limited edition wild colorway for their recently launched Furon 2.0 cleats. The striking design features a bespoke graphic inspired by the Peregrine Falcon, one of the fastest predators in the world. Accordingly, this new colorway has been named Apex in reference to the Apex Predator, the one who sits atop of the food chain.
The Falcon print is seen on the heel zone, slowly fading into the white front upper. Orange detailing creates a dynamic look that supports the concept of speed behind the Furon silo and this Apex colorway.
The unmistakable New Balance Ns shine on the sides, while the company performance logo is placed on the back along with the boot’s name. The print is also visible on the soleplate, accompanied by the frontal orange stud panel. This lethal combination will be worn by elite players Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas and few others.
New Balance Furon were designed with the dangerous and fast players in mind. The 2.0 version was developed with the help of the likes of Navas and Negredo, whose feedback resulted in the revamping of the cleats to achieve a more comfortable feel with lightweight materials. All of this is made possible thanks to REVLite technology and an internal FantomFit cage, which also ensure the shoe fits your foot right out of the box.
Hybrid Mesh is used on the upper, which enhances the contact area and shooting power to make you the most dangerous on the field. The lowered collar allows for better ankle feet and movement freedom for the turning moments in the game. The light stiffened nylon outsole is designed to bring explosive acceleration and energy return to the table.
New Balance Furon Apex will be available on September 15th at World Soccer Shop.
