The North American Soccer League today confirmed the rumors that Under Armour is the new official match ball partner. The Under Armour Desafio ball has been spotted at NASL pre-season training sessions and will make its official on-field debut on April 2.
The Desafio match ball features the NASL’s red and blue colors and the league’s logo.
“Under Armour has quickly become a major player in the global soccer scene, and we believe that this partnership will benefit all who are involved in the game both here and abroad,” said NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson. “When our players and coaches got their feet on the Under Armour Desafio ball for the first time, the responses were great. It’s a fantastic ball.”
The ball will be used in all matches and training sessions as well as community events.
