For the second successive season, Napoli have used their away kit as an opportunity to introduce a unique new design to the soccer world.
After last season’s Camo kit, the 2014/15 Napoli away kit features another take on edgy and distinctive design from Macron. This “denim” kit features an all-over print, giving it the appearance of the denim blue fabric of jeans. The contrast stitching is also inspired in the concept of denim jeans, featuring brown/gold threads. Meanwhile, the classic “coccarda” is added over the Macron logo to signify Napoli’s status as the current Coppa Italia title holders.
The jersey has a polo collar, and light blue trim on the end of the sleeves, the inside back of the neck and underneath the front of the collar. In the back, the text ‘Ssc Napoli’ appears in light blue underneath he collar.
“We were inspired by the concept of denim, which we know all know is the genesis and key to the evolution in the field of fashion. This (jersey) is a very complex stylistic achievement carried out thanks to the flexibility that Macron offers us, and their continuous search of products that can make a difference. Its a shirt that can repeat the success of the Camouflage design and that can enter into the hearts of collectors and fans of Napoli. ” Perfect Denim “debuts in its field Sunday in the match against Chievo at the San Paolo” – said Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
The denim print continues on the shorts, which also feature light blue trim in a style matching the jersey, while the socks are plain dark blue with the same brighter blue and white for the accents.
