Major League Soccer’s third annual Jersey Week began in a festive mood in Quebec, as the Montreal Impact unveiled their new change kit along with their squad for the 2015 season. The kits were unveiled inside the confines of Olympic Stadium Saturday night as part of the Nuit Blanche (All-Nighter; lit. White Night) arts festival held in Montreal. L’Impact are the defending winners of the Canadian Championship, earning a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League.
The new away kit is white with light gray and blue features. The jersey has a rounded modern design in blue, with a separate triangle shaped inset at the front. The neck stripe on the inside of the shirt has “Toujours Fedeles” (Always Faithful) printed within the white stripe. The back of the shirt has an embossed 3D fleur-de-lys in metallic silver under the collar. Adidas’ trademark three stripe trim is also in blue, going from the collar to the shoulders. Both sleeves also have thick blue cuffs at the ends. The new MLS emblems are in the club’s colors of blue and white with black trim outlining the shield.
The design on the shirt has three horizontal stripes in light gray with several fleurs-de-lys on the ends. The badge has a special visual effect with fleurs-de-lys printed on the body. The very bottom of the shirt has a thick blue stripe. Bank of Montreal (BMO) returns as shirt sponsor.
The new Montreal Impact 2015/16 away kit will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com and other fine retailers.
