FC Dallas coach Schellas Hyndman has moved quickly to smooth things over with midfielder Andre Rocha, who was angry over being pulled midway through the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Kansas City.

The player felt he was faring well and was surprised to be removed in the 66th minute, but the boss explained it was simply the matter of making a tactical switch with the team down to 10 men.

"What we wanted to do was to take care of it internally," Hyndman told the Dallas Morning News. "I am not a coach that holds things against players."

"It's an issue taken care of; we moved forward - we just can't have the same situation happen again a week later."
