Seattle Sounders keeper Kasey Keller knows a thing or two about making it in the Bundesliga, and he asserts Landon Donovan is now capable of succeeding at Bayern Munich.

The Los Angeles ace is training with the German kings, and some have speculated the club may make MLS a transfer offer.

"The key for Landon is being in the right place mentally to be over there," said Keller, a former Borussia Moenchengladbach star. "It's very difficult when you're young."

"I think he’s in a great spot now after the difficulties he went through after the World Cup and the criticism he got in that time of his career," added the former U.S. netminder.

"He's really put that behind him and had a fantastic 18 months."
