The Peru star, best known for his two stints with Newcastle, is out of contract after being let go by West Ham United this spring.

As of yet, he has only received English offers in the second flight, which probably isn't goign to attract him away from the City of Angels.
 
"I don't quite know yet what will happen, but my agent is talking to the Galaxy people and we're hopeful of fixing something up," said Solano.

"It would be a preferred option for me and I'm prepared to wait, but until I hear more," he added. "I'm still on the lookout for another short-term contract in England."
