Fresh from inking a contract extension, Toronto FC keeper Greg Sutton says he is already eager to get started on next season.
The Canada international, recently celebrated as the U-Sector supporters group Player of the Year, revealed he was never worried about being left unprotected in the expansion draft by general manager Mo Johnston.
"I'm just happy (the club) has managed to keep the core group of players together," Sutton told the Toronto Sun. "I think with this team we can not only make the playoffs next season but challenge for the MLS Cup."
Sutton posted seven win and six shutouts with 116 saves in 24 games this season.
