Major League Soccer is gearing up for the annual All-Star game and unveiled the 2014 All-Star jersey over the weekend. The MLS All-Stars will play Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich at Providence Park in Portland on Wednesday, August 6.

The solid black jersey has a 2-tone black off-center chevron pattern. The pattern points upward to the green and yellow All-Star badge that includes the famous axes of Portland, ‘Portland’ on the scroll at the base of the crest, and the year.

The green and yellow detail colors on the badge, a thin green panel on the side seam, and a Western Meadowlark, the state bird of Oregon, on the inside of the jersey are the subtle tributes to the host team and city.

The jersey has a v-neck collar with All Stars 2014 on the inside back of the collar and the adidas 3-Stripes run from the neck halfway down the sleeve. The AT&T logo is on the center of the jersey with the MLS badge on the right sleeve. The back of the jersey is black and has a yellow arch across the shoulders.
