Under Armour are celebrating their 20th anniversary in style with a limited edition Metallic colorway for their high performance soccer cleats, the ClutchFit and Spotlight silos.
And much like many of the bold campaigns of the Baltimore-based company over the last 20 years, these cleats can’t be missed! The classy silver upper has a black detailing around the Under Armour logo with a black liner and silver/black laces completed with a chrome silver outsole.
The chrome outsole comes with a warning:
‘BATTLE SCARS: If you’re competing hard enough, the chrome paint on these cleats could chip. WEAR THEM WITH PRIDE.’
Under Armour was founded by former University of Maryland football player, Kevin Plank in 1996 with one simple goal; to make a superior product to make athletes better. To get it right the brand had a single-minded focus on making a superior performance t-shirt but have since grown to include additional performance apparel, accessories, and footwear.
“Passion, design and the relentless pursuit of innovation continue to drive everything that we do at Under Armour. We are looking forward to what lies ahead, but we’ll always remember where we came from.”
American football gear and multi-sport performance gear has enabled Under Armour to grow and in 2014 overtook adidas as the #2 sportswear brand in the U.S. Soccer is one focus of the brand for the next 20 years.
Manchester United and the Netherlands forward Memphis Depay and Arsenal and Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka are the faces of the Spotlight and ClutchFit silos.
The Under Armour Clutchfit and Spotlight silos are available at World Soccer Shop.
Thank you Under Armour for sending Soccer365 a pair of the Metallic Limited Editions of Under Armour ClutchFit
