Just a few hours removed from qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stage in emphatic fashion, Premier League side Manchester United have revealed their third kit for the 2015-16 campaign. The Red Devils will use this kit for away games in their ventures across Europe. This new kit, from adidas, is inspired by the club’s last adidas away kits from the early 1990s.
This kit comes in black with orange trim and details. The shirt has a solid black crew collar. The adidas three stripes on the sleeves and cuffs are orange which pops out visually. Across the upper part of the jersey are two horizontal stripes with tonal graphics based on the designs from the 1990-92 kits. The crest, across from an orange adidas logo, also undergoes a striking visual change as it also appears in a monochrome orange.
The shorts are a radical change from the norm, as they gradate from black to white also using the classic shirt design. The three-stripe trim remains orange, and the monochrome badge has a black overlay. The socks are white and come with orange adidas stripe trim at the top, the devil from the club’s badge at the front and the adidas logo at the back. Chevrolet returns as the shirt sponsor.
