Manchester United unveiled their first jersey offering from adidas since the 3 Stripes took over as technical sponsor last Friday and the club and brand are coming under fire from fans over the 2015/16 Home Jersey women’s cut. The women’s cut of the replica jersey has a more pronounced v-neck that some are calling ‘sexist’.
The women’s look has fans taking to social media to share their feelings.

adidas released a statement insisting the jersey was designed as part of a ‘lifestyle’ range and that the difference from the men’s cut replica jersey offered a ‘slightly different design and fit to give fans a choice.’
Regardless, the 2015/16 Manchester United jersey continues to create a buzz and according to 1 newspaper poll of Red Devil supporters 75% of them like the look.
Some fans probably think this women’s cut jersey is better than nothing. Former technical sponsor, Nike, did not provide a women’s cut jersey.
The Manchester United 15/16 Women’s Home Soccer Jersey is available at World Soccer Shop.
