The Albanian Football Association (FSHF) announced they have signed a 6-year deal for Macron to be their technical sponsor through 2021. The Italian sportswear company replaces adidas.
The move comes as Albania prepare to play in their first major international tournament, this summer’s Euro 2016, and the new partners used the announcement ceremony to unveil their Home, Away, and Third jerseys.
The three jerseys have the same template with a solid color jersey – red home jersey, white away jersey, and black third jersey – with a sublimated horizontal print on the front of the jersey below the chest. The pattern fades as it gets closer to the waistline.
Macron is calling the collar a ‘Korean Collar’ but it has a close resemblance to a more traditional open stub collar. The collar is the same color as the jersey but with a narrow detail color (white, black, and red, respectively) on the edge of collar.
‘TI SHQIPЁRI MЁ JEP NDER (Albania Gives Me Honor)’ is printed on the back inside of the collar while ‘ALBANIA’ and the eagle from the country’s flag is on the back of the jersey below the collar.
The FSHF crest is placed over the heart while the Macron logo is on the right chest. The player number is made to stand out with an additional detail on the top horizontal stripe on the front sublimated pattern.
