One of the original ten clubs in Major League Soccer, The Los Angeles Galaxy is the most successful club in league history. With five MLS Cups, four Supporters’ Shields and two U.S. Open Cups, the Galaxy have a history laden with a tradition intertwined with victory. The Galaxy’s newest away kit was revealed Monday as part of MLS’ Jersey Week.

The new away kit for the defending champion Galaxy has two tones of blue with golden yellow trim. The collar is a v-neck style in a darker shade of blue. The neck stripe on the inner collar has the team’s label over a white stripe. The back of the shirt has a Galaxy wordmark in a 3D embossed effect. The adidas three-stripes on the sleeves are a lighter shade of blue. The new MLS crest has the Galaxy’s usual colors of navy and golden yellow with white outline trim. The sleeve cuffs are in yellow, and take up the inner half.

The jersey has a tonal gradient design, as the stripes transition from the lighter shade into the darker shade of blue. Across from a yellow adidas logo is a Galaxy badge that has a special lenticular crest effect that was introduced in last season’s Galaxy home kit. Five stars are seen over the crest, with a golden star as the top over four silver stars, signifying their five MLS Cup wins. The jocktag has the quote “This is LA” in white and navy. The golden yellow trim that is on the sleeves reappears at the hem of the shirt. The stripe only wraps around the back of the jersey. Herbalife returns as the shirt sponsor.

The 2015/16 Los Angeles Galaxy away kit will be available at WorldSoccerShop.com and other fine retailers.
