LA Galaxy unveiled their new 2016 home jersey by adidas. The Galaxy will try to add more titles to their collection after an unsuccessful 2015, when they where knocked out from the MLS Cup by Seattle Sounders. They will bounce back stronger, with designated players Robbie Keane, Giovanny Dos Santos and Steven Gerrard joining forces with local talent like Gyasi Zardes.
The new LA Galaxy home shirt will feature again a diagonal stripe crossing the front of the jersey (interrupted to create space for Herbalife Nutrition logo), but this time divided in yellow and blue; the V-cut neck and sleeve cuffs will also featured this chromatic division.
The back of the neck has Galaxy written on it, and the low front will show a graphic “This is LA”. MLS logo will combine the club’s three colors: white, blue and yellow.
The authentic version that the players will wear on the field has a more breathable fabric, as well as specifically designed perforations on the back to keep players comfortable in all conditions. The iconic adidas logo is placed on the right chest, opposed to LA Galaxy crest on the left. Both logos are made in lightweight materials to avoid disturbance in the player’s performance.
