by Hunter York – It’s really no surprise that a player of Kaka’s talent is making is presence known in Major League Soccer. Sporting his Blacked out adidas Copa Mundial cleats, Kaka has managed to knock in 3 goals and an assist for Orlando City.
The Brazilian midfielder is a longtime adidas wearer and has been known to sport the both the Predator and Adipure lines in his career. He wore the Predator until 2008 when he switched to the adiPure cleats while playing with AC Milan and then switched back into the Predators in early 2011.
He has been known to be a lover of the Predator line-ups and that makes his switch into the Copa Mundial more interesting. Maybe he is not the biggest fan of the current Predator or maybe he has turned to comfort in his boots at this stage in his career.
But it must be remembered that Kaka is willing to move into a more classic style cleat prior to switching silos. He took to wearing the adidas World Cup in a friendly between Brazil and England in June of 2007.
Less than 6 months later, Kaka made the move and was the one of the faces of the new adiPure silo.
He had some of his best seasons in his storied career in more heritage style boots so maybe the new boots will help him find some of that magic we all witnessed when he won his Ballon d’Or with the Rossoneri in 2007.
Sitting tied for 3rd on the MLS Golden Boot Table, Kaka has been a bright spot for the new MLS franchise. Will the Brazilian keep making magic happen with the Copa’s at his feet? Time will tell, but it certainly looks like this could be a magical season down in Florida for Kaka.
The adidas Copa Mundial and adidas World Cup cleats, the best selling cleats of all-time, are available at World Soccer Shop.
