The Puerto Rican national team has a new classic look from their new kit providers Joma. The new kit is a stark contrast from their clever and unique look by their previous kit sponsor, Forward Sports. They are the fourth nation in the CONCACAF region playing with Joma’s kits, with Nicaragua, Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras, who played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Puerto Rico, whose men’s national team are currently ranked 159th in the latest FIFA World Rankings, are coming from a short run in the Caribbean Cup. The young team recorded two draws and a loss to French Guiana, and were eliminated in the qualification round back in September.

The newest kit for the boricuas features a red and white striped jersey. A curved v-neck collar and the sleeves come in a solid red. White and red stripes take up the body. The badge on the chest is a special crest with El Huracan Azul (The Blue Hurricane), the nickname for the national team, on the center. A black Joma logo is shown across from the badge. The trademark J logos appear on each shoulder, in the same black color.
