The presentation of the new 2014/2015 Kit collection for ACF Fiorentina, designed by technical sponsor Joma, took place today in Firenze. For the 2014/2015 season, in which The “Viola” will play in Serie A, Coppa Italia and Europa League, the Italian club will have three full kits which we will be showing you today.
The traditional purple home kit will include some golden accents, a resource already seen last years for their Champions League design by Joma. In this occasion, the gold appears in the form of a double curved accent in the shoulder area, as well as the sides of the neck, torso and insides of the cuffs. The jersey also features a bit of a darker purple as a gradients on the sides, formed by diamonds inspired in the shapes of the team’s crest.
This diamond effect is much more noticeable on the away kit, now applied again in purple but now on a white base. The rest of the design is again, a mirror of the home kit, now with the accents all in purple. The details are also repeated, such as the name of the club in the back right under the collar and the inscription that unifies the players and the fans “Abbiamo undici atleti e un solo cuore” (We are eleven players and one only heart) which is included on the sleeves.
The set is completed with a black third kit, which differs from the template seen on the other two. This shirt retains some elements such as the side accents and the collar style with the gold/purple combination, with cuffs to match. The cut is overall simpler, missing the curved accents on the unions of the torso and the sleeves, and featuring a horizontal pinstripe pattern for a cleaner look.
How do you like these new Fiorentina shirts? Do you think Joma did a good job with the Violas?
