Manchester United and Crystal Palace will play for the 2016 FA Cup title on Saturday, May 21 at Wembley. The FA along with the 2 Premier League clubs announced the team jerseys for the match earlier this month.
Manchester United, the 11-time winner, will their 2015/16 Away jersey. The official customized jersey will include the FA Cup badges on the right and left sleeve. The full kit will be completed with black shorts and white socks.
Crystal Palace is seeking their first FA Cup title and will be wearing their traditional Red/Blue home jersey. The official FA Cup badges are available for the Crystal Palace jersey as well. The full kit will be completed with blue shorts and blue socks.
The match is expected to draw more than 57,000 fans with the Red Devils’ fans allocated tickets on the east side of Wembley while Eagles’ fans will be situated on the west side of Wembley.
Mark Clattenburg is scheduled to referee the game.
The match is a repeat of the 1990 FA Cup final when Manchester United took home the silverware after a 1-0 win in the replay. The initial match ended 3-3. The victory was the first major trophy under Sir Alex Ferguson with some crediting the run to the title, which included beating heavily favored Nottingham Forest in the third round, as saving Fergie’s job.
