Puma has released its latest design for the evoSpeed 1.3 inspired by Japanese dragons.

The new evoSpeed 1.3 Dragon features striking Japanese Dragon graphics with matching skin textures, a traditional design that represents speed, wisdom and agility. Similar to the evoPower Dragon that was released last week, the evoSpeed was created to make a striking appearance on the pitch.

The new white, high risk red and sea pine boot features a symbolical dragon graphic that wraps around the upper. The design continues through to the heel with a sea pine colored scale effect, completing the dragon stimulated look.

Manchester City star striker Sergio Agüero said: “I love the new dragon boot that PUMA made for us. I hope that this Japanese dragon also stands for luck and success, because I need them to perform well with me during these important matches at the end of the season and also for the Copa America in Chile when I play with Argentina.

In honor of the evoSpeed launch, Aguero and Borussia Dortmund Midfielder Macro Reus met head to head in an unusual football encounter to debut the new boots.

The boot will be worn by all PUMA evoSPEED players including Radamel Falcao, Antoine Griezmann, Marco Verratti, Santi Cazorla and many more.
