Puma and the FIGC have revealed the new home kit for the Italia National Soccer Team, that will compete in the UEFA Euro 2016 hosted by France. The new home jersey is a nod to tradition and national pride, boasting a simple design with their iconic blue and white colors.
The jersey features royal blue as main color, accompanied with pinstripes and golden stripes over the shoulders. Puma’s powercat appears in white on the sleeves and chest, while the FIGC crest sits proudly on the left surrounded by a clear blue outline. The uniform will be completed with white shorts and blue socks.
International stars such as Marco Verratti, Giorgio Chiellini and Gianluigi Buffon will wear the new Italian kit for the first time in their friendly clash against Belgium on November 13, and then in the European Championship next summer in France, where they hope to reach the final once again, but claim victory this time around.
The new Italian strip features the best technology from Puma, with ACTV tape placed in strategic positions on the shirt to fulfil different functions, supporting the body’s physiological performance by cooling it in hot conditions and heating it in cool weather. PUMA’s dryCELL technology further improves the comfort as it wicks moisture away from the skin’s surface to keep the wearer dry.
