Nike and Internazionale have released a stylish new home kit for the 2014/15 season, which shows a radical change in style from what we are used to for the Nerazzurri. The Italian giants are gearing up for a season where they will be pushing for both domestic and European silverware, and have signalled their intentions with the capture of Nemanja Vidic to add to an already impressive squad that includes the likes of Hernanes, Rodrigo Palacio and Andrea Ranocchia.

Inter_Nike_14Taking advantage of being based in one of the fashion capitals of the world, Nike has aimed to create a kit that is a modern twist on their traditional stripes. The shirt maintains the iconic colors of the Nerazzurri with black as the primary color and thin blue pinstripes. This is one of the most radical redesigns ever seen for the Inter shirt.

INT5The Internazionale club crest has also been updated. The enlarged logo has a cleaner and more polished look with the 1 star above it. The Nike and Pirelli logos remain white.

The shirt design is topped with matching cuffs in black with a thin blue line, and blue numbers instead of the traditional white.

A St. George’s cross can be found on the inside of the back of the shirt, a nod to the coat of arms of Milan. On the back of the neck is ‘Inter.’ The detail is applied in a special font that fans have used on flags and banners at the San Siro since the 1970’s.
