Hull City released their 2016/17 third jersey from Umbro last week and gave it the unfortunate on-field debut in their 1-6 loss to Bournemouth on the weekend.
The jersey stands out in purple (or according to the club’s website ‘purple cactus’) with subtle vertical striping created with slightly different shades of purple and white and black detailing on the crew collar and sleeve cuffs. A white ventilation panel runs down the side of the jersey.
The gold/black Hull club badge stands out nicely over the heart on the jersey. ‘Tigers’ is printed in white on the back of the jersey below the collar while the ‘Umbro’ wordmark is placed under the Premier League logo at the base of the sleeve. The Umbro double diamond logo is over the right chest.
