Bakkal Wants First Team Ball

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal blames his lack of first-team opportunities on missing pre-season to play at the Olympic Games.
The 23-year-old was in the Holland squad in Beijing but since returning has been ignored by new coach Huub Stevens and instead is playing in the reserves.
"You could say the Olympics weren't good for me," Bakkal told AD Sportwereld.
"There's a new coach who makes his own choices and I wasn't there during pre-season."
Bakkal said he does not mind where he plays as long as he is involved.
"To be honest, I don't know on which position I need to focus my attention," he added.
"The coach never told me that I was no longer in the picture for the position next to (defensive midfielder) Timmy Simons.
"But I don't have a distinct preference for any position. I want to play games so position is not so important for me."
