PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes would spend next season warming the bench if coach Sef Vergoossen were to stay in charge.
Vergoossen is disappointed at remarks Gomes made in an interview with Voetbal International magazine about club director Jan Reker.
The Brazilian claimed Reker broke a series of promises after persuading him to sign a new contract last December and issued a him-or-me ultimatum to the club.
Vergoossen told TV station Het Gesprek: "(Gomes) has broken an agreement to keep things internal and that's why I'm really disappointed in him.
"I told him that and he didn't show a reaction - and that heavily disappointed me again."
And Vergoossen, who is to be replaced by Hamburg coach Huub Stevens this summer, added he would leave Gomes out of his starting XI next season if he were still at the Phillips Stadion.
"That would be the case in the end, absolutely," he said.
