Pranjic Staying At Heerenveen

Midfielder Daniel Pranjic has resigned himself to staying at Heerenveen for another season.
The 26-year-old left-sided player had hoped to make a move to a bigger club after impressing for Croatia at Euro 2008.
Pranjic believes his hopes of a move away from Heerenveen, where he has spent the past three seasons after joining from Dinamo Zagreb, have been undermined by the asking price the Dutch club have set for him.
"I am ready for a big club, but Heerenveen are asking too much money for me," he told the club's official website.
"It's not a problem for me to play another season in Friesland. I have patience. My best years are still to come and I know that I will one day make the step to a bigger club."
Heerenveen begin their season away to FC Volendam on Sunday, but will be without the services of Bonaventure Kalou.
The Ivory Coast striker picked up a hamstring injury during last Friday's pre-season friendly match against Real Sociedad and is expected to be sidelined for two weeks.
