Heart of Midlothian has revealed a very special third kit this season.

The Foundation Tribute Jersey is the new official third kit of Heart of Midlothian for the 2015/16 season. Its most obvious and standout feature is the multitude of names that stretch across the arms and chest of the jersey. The names of 8,000 Hearts fans who pledged money to the club and saved it from going out of business have their names forever inscribed on the special kit.

The shirt became available for preorder at the club store on September 18, 2015 and will officially go on sale online and in stores on November 15, 2015. The jersey is priced the same as Hearts’ current home and away jerseys despite having a much higher production cost.

The Scottish club has been re-building the team and their image since former owner Vladimir Romanov allowed the team to go into administration.  They became the 1st team UK football history to have a national charity as their jersey sponsor after announcing Save the Children as their front of jersey sponsor for the 2015/16 campaign.

The kit is more than just the names that flow across it for Hearts and its fans, it is a tribute to the loyal supporters who saved the storied franchise.
