Germany, current world champions, returned to a classic look for their 2016 Home Jersey and will have a new look for their away jersey next summer. It is a different take on the German National Team, with a bold look for bold players who intimidate the opposition.
Die Mannschaft is scheduled to debut these jerseys in their friendly against the Netherlands on November 17.
The jersey represents the young generations of Germany, and features two shades of gray combined in horizontal stripes on the front, and dark green sleeves. The most surprising feature of this shirt is that it is reversible, revealing a light green training suit on the inside.
The DFB crest is embroidered on the chest, accompanied by four stars for each of their World Cup titles and the FIFA World Cup Champions patch for their achievement last year in Brazil. The three stripes sit on the sides of the shirt in white color.
A white pennant tab on the back of the neck has ‘Germany’ writen on it, as well as ‘Deustchermannschaft’ (German National Team) and the national colors. This stunning jersey is combined with plain white shorts (no adidas stripes on them) and white socks with their four World Cup stars.
