Germany National Soccer Team will rock a new look when they face San Marino in their World Cup qualifier on November 11th. Germany’s 2017 home jersey has a retro appearance inspired by classic adidas looks from the late 80’s.
A geometric print with gradient effect is featured on the front of the jersey, reminiscent of the green away shirt used by West Germany during the 1990 FIFA World Cup that they ultimately won. The V-cut neck has a special trimming with the German flag on it as a symbol of their national pride.
The iconic three stripes make their return to the shoulders, cut at the top of the sleeves, which also feature the frontal geometric pattern on the cuffs. The DFB badge appears in black over the heart with the four stars representing their World Cups trophies; adidas performance logo sits on the right, with the FIFA World Cup champions badge placed on the center of the chest.
The back is solid white with ‘Die Mannschaft’ (‘The Team’) written beneath the collar and the DFB badge between the words. The new German home kit is completed by black shorts and white socks.
The Germany 2017 adidas home jersey is available at World Soccer Shop.
