Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath fancies his side's chances of making the UEFA Cup knock-out stages despite being drawn in the same group as AC Milan.

The Wolves travel to the San Siro for their final game in Group E after games against Heerenveen, Braga and Portsmouth.

Magath is looking forward to pitting his side against the Serie A giants, but feels it is in the other games where they can secure qualification.

He told the club's official website: "I am looking forward of course to AC Milan. That is a great game for us.

"The group altogether is very interesting. But we can measure up to teams like Heerenveen and Braga.

"We want to come through the group stage. It will be above all an important experience for our young players, to see how they match up against opponents at this level.

"Through the games in the group phase our team as a whole will develop."
