Perennial Turkish Süper Lig table-toppers Galatasaray SK has revealed a stunning new Nike third jersey for the 2016/17 season. Turkey’s most successful football club has a radical purple jersey that gradates to gray, an extremely vibrant look for Aslanlar (The Lions).

The collar at the top is a modern v-neck style, with a darker purple trim wrapped around the back of the neck. The year of the club’s founding, 1905, is on the collar’s backside.

The front of the jersey has four stars arched atop Galatasaray’s crest, for their twenty domestic league titles. The crest is placed on the chest across from a white Nike swoosh, and a Turkish flag roundel in the center as defending Turkish Cup champion.

The jersey has horizontal stripes that creates a gradient from purple at the top to gray at the hem. Black trim are on the sides and pipe down through the shirt onto the shorts.

The trim only breaks up the design pattern which is also seen at the back of the jersey. The shorts will be grey, continuing the flow of the gradient, with black trim. The socks will be purple with gray-trimmed stripes on the calves.
