The midfielder came off the bench to rescue Les Gones with a superb winner from 40 yards out, just when it looked like Sedan were going to take the reigning six-time Ligue 1 champions to extra time.

Alan Perrin's side will meet PSG in the showpiece at the Stade de France on May 24 and remain on course for their first league and cup double.

Les Gones, who have not won the cup since 1973, were dominant throughout and should have gone into the interval ahead.

Mathieu Bodmer, Fabio Grosso and Hatem Ben Arfa all squandered decent first-half chances as Sedan were forced on the back foot.

At the other end, Alexis Allart's header forced a good save out of Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet but that was a rare excursion forward by the visitors.

It was more of the same after the break, Bodmer particularly threatening as he continued to break forward from midfield.

Patrick Regnault superbly turned aside a Kader Keita drive on the hour before the hosts threw on big guns Karim Benzema and Juninho from the bench.

And Juninho's set-piece skills once again proved the difference, the Brazilian sending a marvellous 40-yard free-kick swerving into the bottom corner with just three minutes left.

PSG beat Amiens 1-0 on Tuesday to progress to the final.
