Alejandro Alonso will miss title-chasing Bordeaux's last two Ligue 1 matches of the season after picking up a thigh injury at the weekend.
The Argentinian midfielder hurt his thigh in the 2-1 win over Marseille on Sunday and was substituted at half-time.
He has been ruled out of action for around three weeks and will therefore miss Saturday's match against Sochaux and the trip to Lens seven days later.
Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc, whose side are two points behind leaders Lyon, still does not know how long goalkeeper Ulrich Rame (adductor) and playmaker Johan Micoud (calf) will be out for.
