Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed his interest in signing Juventus striker David Trezeguet as a replacement for Karim Benzema.
The French side are in the market for attacking reinforcements after agreeing to sell Benzema to Real Madrid and allowing Abdul Kader Keita to join Galatasaray.
Trezeguet has been linked with a move to Stade Gerland, with Juventus willing to sell the French ace at the right price.
And Aulas has revealed that Lyon are weighing up a possible bid to bring the former Monaco forward back to Ligue 1.
"I would fancy signing Trezeguet," Aulas told Le Progres.
Reports have suggested that Lyon could let Italian defender Fabio Grosso join Juventus as part of any deal for Trezeguet.
Grosso is understood to be keen to return to Italy and Aulas acknowledged Lyon are prepared to sanction the full-back's departure.
He added: "Fabio spoke to the coach about leaving the club and we may let him."
