Vardy Aims For Goal Mark Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, October’s Player of the Month in the Premier League, has scored in his ninth consecutive EPL match as the Foxes rolled to a 2-1 victory over Watford. The league’s leading goalscorer, sitting at twelve goals, is one match away from tying the mark set by Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Özil Sets Assists Record
Arsenal’s star German playmaker Mesut Özil registered an assist in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with North London derby foe Tottenham Hotspur. Özil set a Premier League record for most assists in consecutive matches with six. He’s the only player in the EPL with double digit assists, as he currently sits at ten.

Swansea Super Trio Only three players have scored goals for Swansea City so far in the club’s EPL campaign. Andre Ayew (5 Goals), Bafetimbi Gomis (4 Goals) and Glyfi Sigurdsson (2 Goals) all failed to score in the Swans’ 1-0 defeat against Norwich City on Matchday 12.

Lingard’s Long Range Effort True For Man U
Andre Lingard’s 52nd minute strike for Manchester United opened the scoring for the Red Devils in their 2-0 win over West Bromwich. Lingard’s goal is the first goal scored by Manchester United outside the penalty area in a Premier League match since December 2014. It’s also Lingard’s first goal for the club.

Crystal Palace Claims Anfield Calendar Double
Crystal Palace at one point never won at Anfield against Liverpool. In Premier League history, from 1992 to 2013, the Eagles failed to defeat the Reds in Liverpool (Lost 3, Drew 2). Things have changed over the last two seasons though, as Crystal Palace beat Liverpool at Anfield for the second time this calendar year. Palace previously defeated Liverpool 3-1 on May 16 last season.
