Evander Sno has admitted he learned a lot at Celtic but declared that he couldn't turn down a move to Ajax.
The Dutch Under-21 midfielder made a return to Amsterdam in August after spending two seasons at Parkhead and revealed he was eager to rejoin the Dutch giants, who are now coached by legendary striker Marco van Basten.
"I first heard of Ajax's interest when I was in China with the Olympic team," the 21-year-old said.
"There are so many good players at Ajax that if they want you, you feel flattered.
"It feels right to me that I should return to be closer to my family and friends.
"I learned a lot in Scotland. The ball moves so quickly and you don't have much time.
"As a midfielder you have to look around you there and use your space well.
"I gained a lot of experience and I got to play in the UEFA Champions League, Old Firm games and in the SPL too. I had a nice time."
